The biocide BK and biocide MBM are water-soluble additives often used in metalworking fluids, and they are all broad-spectrum biocides. So, what is the difference between the two biocides? After checking with technicians, there are three differences as follows:
¡¡¡¡#1. The ingredients are different. The ingredient of BK is 1,3,5-Tris(2-hydroxyethyl)hexahydro-1,3,5-triazine. The ingredient of MBM is N,N'-Dimorpholinomethane.
¡¡¡¡#2. The sterilization effect is different. BK takes effect quickly, but the sterilization persistence is slightly poor. MBM has longer bactericidal durability, milder odor, low skin irritation, and strong formulation compatibility.
¡¡¡¡#3. The price is different. The price of BK is lower than MBM in the market.
